Chandipath
Chandipath is also known as Durga Saptashati, or Durga Path. It tells the story of the victory of Goddess Durga, the goddess of power, over the demon Mahishasura.
It has a total of 700 verses. It is also important to know that the number 13 chapters in Durga Saptashati are divided into three characters.
This text is the best text for the worship of Goddess Durga, it is especially read in many homes during Navratri. It is believed that reciting Chandipath destroys fear and sins, as well as provides relief from troubles, auspicious results and victory over enemies.

चंडीपाठ
चंडी पाठ को दुर्गा सप्तशती, या दुर्गा पाठ भी कहा जाता है। यह शक्ति की देवी माता दुर्गा के राक्षस महिषासुर पर जीत की कहानी कहता है ।
इसमें कुल 700 श्लोक है साथ ही यह भी जानना जरूरी है कि दुर्गा सप्तशती में अध्याय की संख्या 13 को तीन चरित्र में विभाजित किया गया है।
यह पाठ माता दुर्गा की आराधना का सबसे उत्तम पाठ है, नवरात्रि में इसे विशेष तौर पर कई घरों में पढ़ा जाता है । ऐसी मान्यता है की चंडी पाठ करने से भय और पापों का नाश होता है साथ ही संकट से निवारण तथा शुभ फल मिलते और शत्रुओं पर भी विजय प्राप्त होता है।
